Hello and welcome to Rousset our home set in the Tarn region, Midi-Pyrénées in southwest France. We are your hosts, Derek and Amanda, and we live with our three children, Freya, Charlie and Mimi and our dog Maui.
On the 12th August 2003 we arrived in the Tarn, having left Hove, East Sussex, England. Since then we have completely renovated the main house trying to keep as much of the original features as possible.
Derek has overseen all aspects of the renovation works and carried out demolition, plumbing and installation of floors etc himself. During this restoration, Amanda gave birth to our baby daughter, Mimi, in November 2003 at the nearby city of Albi.
